Anthony Chedid
Managing Partner
Mr. Chedid is the Managing Partner of Validus Capital and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Chedid began his real estate investment career in 2001 in New York City acquiring parking garages and single-family apartments before expanding to acquiring, entitling, and financing multi-family apartment buildings and parking lots in 2018. Mr. Chedid is based out of Manhattan.
Mr. Chedid served on the Advisory Council at the College of the University of Chicago and endowed the Chedid Family Scholarship at the College of the University of Chicago. Mr. Chedid currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan.
Before starting Validus, Mr. Chedid was a Portfolio Manager in Technology Equities at Point 72 Asset Management in New York and Connecticut. Mr. Chedid also worked at Morgan Stanley in its equity research department. Mr. Chedid graduated from the College at the University of Chicago.
Yaser Moustafa
Founding Partner and Director
Mr. Moustafa currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of NBK Capital Partners, the leading institutional alternative asset investor in Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Estate focused on the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa. He chairs the Investment Committees of the respective funds as well as the boards of select portfolio companies. Mr. Moustafa serves as a Director on the Board at Validus Capital.
Previously, Mr. Moustafa was the Managing Director of Alvarez & Marsal in Dubai, responsible for private equity and corporate advisory in the MENA region. He started his career at Lehman Brothers in investment banking in the U.S.
Mr. Moustafa is an Investor in Residence with the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T.
Mr. Moustafa is a graduate of the College of the University of Chicago and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Ryan Fleck
Analyst
Mr. Fleck is an Analyst at Validus, focusing on acquisitions, management, and operations in the Chicago portfolio. Based in Chicago, Mr. Fleck brings experience from internships at Validus Capital and the National Equity Fund.
Mr. Fleck is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a degree in Economics. Mr. Fleck was a four-year varsity wrestler and NCAA All-American.
Trent Williams
Software Engineer, Vite Intelligence
Mr. Williams is a Software Engineer at Vite Intelligence, focusing on developing, managing, and enhancing Vite’s proprietary internal software system. Mr Williams is based in Chicago.
Trent is a graduate of University of Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Computer Science.
